Our Matilda cast has been sharing their talent beyond the stage — a show that truly keeps on giving.
Our brilliant Ms Tagg and Ms Burman arranged for the Matilda crew to visit Dean Road Extra Care Scheme, bringing laughter, music, and joy to the residents. It was a powerful reminder that theatre isn’t just about performance — it’s about connection, community, and the smiles we create along the way.
Denise, a member of staff, shared:
“How talented are your pupils! They were absolutely wonderful. We all thoroughly enjoyed your show — thank you so much, and we look forward to any forthcoming events or performances.”
Special recognition goes to Aliyyah in Year 11 for her outstanding leadership — confidently guiding warm-ups while the sound team got set up — and to the whole group for ad-libbing with such ease and generosity when the audience wanted more.
The joy these students share — both on stage and within our wider community — is truly special.
