It’s been a week full of trips and new experiences, and one highlight was the annual

ISSP Science Day, kindly hosted by Hampton School. The event was a celebration not

just of learning, but of the connections that form when schools come together.

 

Sabina in Year 9 summed up the day perfectly:

 

“It was a really enjoyable experience and it was great to collaborate with other students

and schools… it was nice to learn new skills and work with new people that I wouldn’t

normally work with.”

 

There’s something quietly powerful about moments like these — when students step

into a new space, meet unfamiliar faces, and discover what they can achieve alongside

others.

 

Science Day reminded us that inspiration often grows through partnership: fresh

perspectives, shared enthusiasm, and the confidence that comes from learning

together.
