When Passion and Partnership Bring Treasure Island to Life
Posted on: 11/03/2026Our students had the wonderful opportunity to join Hampton School performers on stage in their production of Treasure Island, contributing to an adventure full of creativity, courage, and teamwork.
From show-stopping swordplay and a live band’s atmospheric score to impressive sets and staging, the production showcased remarkable talent both on stage and behind the scenes.
As Miss Beth Tiller, Director of the Show, reflected:
"Treasure Island has been an adventure not only for the cast, but for the entire creative team. Watching the cast grow in confidence, support one another, and throw themselves into pirates, peril, and plot twists has been a real joy."
As our Year 9 student Ilona shared:
"It was such an exciting opportunity — not only to be in the show but to meet everyone and work in amazing facilities. At first it seemed daunting, but everyone was so welcoming and kind. I’m sure the next cast will have just as incredible an experience as us. Thank you to Hampton School for inviting us to take part in this amazing opportunity."
Experiences like this allow our students to connect with our neighbouring school and the wider community, building friendships, confidence, and collaboration while opening doors to opportunities that extend far beyond the stage.
A huge well done to everyone involved, and a massive thank you to Hampton School for making this opportunity possible — a memorable voyage that celebrated creativity, teamwork, and the courage to step into something new.
