Hands-On Learning at the Built Environment Festival
Posted on: 13/10/2025A group of Hampton High students had an amazing time at the Built Environment Festival, exploring careers in construction, design, sustainability, and engineering!
Through interactive workshops and hands-on activities, students stepped out of the classroom to experience real-world applications of science and engineering in a fun and engaging way.
A highlight of the day was the Careers Speed Networking session, where students connected with industry professionals to discover exciting career paths and the skills needed to succeed.
Faris in Year 9 shared:
“I found the hands-on activities and meeting industry professionals invaluable to my learning journey. It’s really helped me understand what a career in this field could be like.”
A huge thank you to SATRO: Education & Employability Skills charity for organising such an inspiring event that helps young people build confidence, curiosity, and career awareness.
