A Message from Ms Poole - Year 7 admissions September 2020

We were absolutely delighted to discover this morning that, after a record number of 527 applications for 180 places, Hampton High is oversubscribed for the second year in a row, with a waiting list of over 90 families wanting to join us.

This is testimony to the hard work which has gone on over a number of years to support and develop Hampton High in becoming the school of choice for the local community. The school, its families and neighbouring primary and secondary schools have all pulled together to help Hampton High succeed.

We are aware that there are a number of families who are disappointed not to have been allocated a place at Hampton High. The admissions process is administered by the local authority and we would urge anyone who has not been successful in securing a place with us to contact the admissions team to find out where they are placed on the waiting list. There is also clear guidance given on the local authority website about the appeals process.
Finally, we should like to take this opportunity to thank you, our local families, for your continued support in Hampton High’s exciting journey.
