Year 10 Future Pathways Information Evening

On Tuesday, the Year 10 students and their parents were invited to join us for an information evening regarding their future pathways. Mrs Martin, Head of Year 10, was impressed that 148 students turned up to find out what strategies are in place for them to help them with their journey towards their future.
Students were reminded that they are already halfway through their GCSEs and that they need to start think what their plans are for when they finish Year 11.
Over the next coming months there are college open days that students are encouraged to attend, to have a better understanding of what their options are. We will be holding careers assemblies in June and July to which guest speakers will be invited in order to talk to Year 10. Students will also have focused tutor times for revision hints, tips and timetables. There will be college taster days and the opportunity to understand what Teddington School and Hampton High offer in regards to A-levels. Students will also be given the opportunity to learn what apprenticeship opportunities are available for them.
