Summer 2021 Results

Posted on: 10/08/2021

After a particularly challenging 18 months, we are really proud of the achievements of these students, and the dedicated teaching staff who continued to provide a high quality education to these students through two periods of school lockdown, and extended periods of self-isolation.

A levels

All of those who applied to university have secured a place of their choice. 57% will be studying at Russell group universities. Our students are going on to study at Durham, Birmingham, Chichester, St Mary’s, Exeter, Bath, Southampton, Brighton, Bath Spa, Queen Mary’s, Reading and Oxford Brookes.

53% achieved at least one grade A or A*. Students who achieved 3 A or A* grades were: Abi F, Annalee J, Elliot M, Jacob M, Tom P. Our congratulations go to all of our students, who showed such resilience and dedication to their studies over the last two years.

GCSE results

Our congratulations also go to our Year 11 students, who received their grades yesterday. These were achieved with disruption throughout their two year GCSE years. They have shown remarkable resilience and we are proud that they have secured what they needed to proceed to the next stage of education, job or apprenticeship of their choice. There was much celebration yesterday as so many students proved that hard work pays off, and exceeded their targets.

Well done to all of our cohort of 2021, who were not put off by pandemic lockdowns, but continued to work hard. Thank you also to all of the staff who supported them throughout, with a total commitment to their pastoral care and learning, both remotely and face to face.
