Question and Answer session with Martin Tyler, world top football commentator!

On Monday 3rd July Martin Tyler, the voice of football commentary on Sky Sports and FIFA as well as the Assistant Manager of Hampton and Richmond Borough Football Club, visited Hampton High to hold a Question and Answer session for students.

Students asked Martin a variety of questions from what it is like to be the top football commentator in the world, the production of the FIFA games as well as his own perspective on football. At the end of the Q&A, Martin signed students’ copies of FIFA, football boots, football shirt and posed for a number of selfies.

Martin complimented the knowledge of our students and type of questions that were asked, stating that they were thought provoking and intelligent.

The school are looking forward to growing the links with Hampton and Richmond Borough Football Club and working with Alan Dowson (First Team Manager) and Martin Tyler.
