We have been informed some parents have received an email stating: ‘As schools will be closing, if you're entitled to free school meals, please send your bank details and we'll make sure you're supported’. This is a scam email - do not respond, and delete immediately. https://t.co/r6cJP28dyY

Welcome from the Headteacher

Hamptonslt050

I feel enormously proud and privileged to be the Headteacher of Hampton High.

We were delighted that Ofsted judged us to be a good school across all categories in our inspection in March 2019. This has been the result of significant focus, determination and hard work from across the school community and beyond, with unwavering support from our local community, neighbouring schools and RWST. Although this is a significant benchmark for us, it marks just the start of our next stage of development, as we aspire to even greater heights for our students and their families.

Hampton High is a warm, caring and vibrant community which provides support and challenge to ensure that all students, regardless of their starting points, achieve well to go on to lead happy and fulfilled lives.

It is with enormous pride that we greet our students every day. They wear their uniform with pride and are real ambassadors for the school beyond the school gates. Within school they are courteous, warm and show real kindness and respect to all members of the school community. Our visitors always comment on how welcoming they are and how calm the school environment is.

Last summer, our students were also able to prove that hard work, resilience and commitment really pay off. Our GCSE results were the best the school has seen. We set ourselves the target of 65% of our students passing both English and Maths, ensuring that all students make good progress with us. We secured 66% and are delighted that many of our students went on to exceed these targets with even higher grades. Our students and staff really rose to the challenge of the new grading system, proven by the record number of students in the school’s history to achieve the best grades; 29 grade 9s were awarded, and 22% of grades were at a level 7 or higher. This is a real testament to the work undertaken this year in providing real challenge and intellectual rigour for our students, regardless of starting points.

Hampton High is a great school. If you would like to find out more about us, or even come and see us in action, please contact us on: info@hamptonhigh.org.uk
