Teacher of Maths
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and committed teacher of maths to join our maths team from 1 September 2022. The ability to offer a second subject to at least KS3 would be an advantage. This post would be suitable for an ECT, who would be well supported by the school’s induction and development programme.
The successful candidate will be joining the school at an exciting time. Hampton High is a mixed comprehensive school, which was judged “good” by Ofsted in 2019. The school is now full throughout KS3 with a waiting list of families. We are committed to real inclusion and are proud of our newly opened Specialist Resource Provision for ASD students. We have recently joined Bourne Education Trust, which has a commitment to nurturing talented colleagues, and we offer a comprehensive programme of professional development for all staff. All visitors to our school comment on the high standards of behaviour, high levels of student engagement in lessons and the warmth and pride with which students talk about their school. We would encourage you to read our Ofsted report prior to making an application.
Should you wish to visit the school in advance of making an application, please contact the Headteacher’s PA on: Kirsty.martin@hamptonhigh.org.uk
There may be an opportunity to work across more than one school within the Trust.
Hampton High and Bourne Education Trust are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. All staff will be subject to rigorous safer recruitment procedures an enhanced DBS disclosure.
